Project management office

With access to consultants who come from a strong Project Management and Program Management Office background, we are able to resource and leverage a diverse skillset to cover long term assignments as well as short term placements to help with process reviews and re-engineering.

All of our consultants are qualified with the relevant Project Management credentials which are backed up with years of operational experience.

Traditional waterfall

If your organisation is running a project that is following a traditional waterfall approach, we are able to resource project managers that have established a keen track record on delivering on time and to budget.

They will be supporting this with a minimum of foundation level accreditation.


With Agile becoming more of a mainstream approach, it is important to have the flexibility in approach. Our Project Managers are able to direct via the daily stand ups and prioritise using techniques such as MoSCoW.

Our associates are qualified either as Scrum Masters or DSDM Agile dependant on the qualification route they have chosen to take.

Project management tools

Whether it is enterprise products such as Microsoft Project and Clarizen or other cloud based offerings such as Gantter or Zoho, our Project Management consultants are able to work comfortably or adapt to your chosen toolset.

All consultants are supplied with their own laptop operating a fully licenced version of Project 2016 Professional.

PMO re-allignment

We were asked to provide a short term resource (6 months) to review the current process and bring together a number of large projects and small changes into a single program view. We had the opportunity to provide greater visibility to the end client allowing a more effective use of the allocated resources and drive a greater understanding of the change agenda which resulted in those elements giving the greater return being reprioritised.

Clarizen Implementation

With Clarizen being selected as the prefered Project and Program Management toolset, additional support was requested on a short term basis to advise on our experience of integrating the time sheet planning and recording aspect of the tool.

Creation of Release Management

Always an exciting opportunity as it starts to cross over into the ITSM part of our consultancy. By leveraging knowledge across both disciplines, we were able to design and support the underpinning processes that took a set of disparate changes throught the lifecycle and into a regular release strategy.

Agile "Rapid Delivery"

With an average release comprising of 8 small changes, we were able to support the review process and identify some efficiencies by adopting a more "Agile" approach which increased the delivery volume as well as decreasing the overal cost of unit per change .

Testing Capability

The challenge was laid down to deliver both a functional (regression) and non functional (performance test) capability across a middleware and WMS platform. We adopted an external build capability and as well and project managing the build of 5 environments, we also delivered via an external specialist consultancy the full capability.

Managed Print Solution

Three head office floors, 800 users plus a fully operating print service in the mailroom, our brief was to take a ageing estate of laser printers and deliver a cost controllable "pull printing" multifuction device estate incorporating scan to home directory and "fax" integration". We ran the RFI/RFQ through to suppiler selection and then delivered a solution that exceeded the 4 year lifespan by an additional 3 years.

PED (chip and pin) selection

With PCI DSS looming on the horizon, we were asked to manage the information requirements gathering and subsequent RFI/RFQ which incorporated a number of the UK based PED suppliers. This had to integrate with the established EPOS system with the minimum amount of code change.

Peak readiness

Representing the needs of the logistics operation, we were the main conduit into the IT Operations team to ensure that once peak hit, the customer experience would not be put at risk.

Working with the internal business stakeholders, end clients and delivery managers, we are adept at taking a broad ranging portfolio and ensuring that the overal delivery pipeline is alligned to the business requirements and that the best utilisation of resource is leveraged.
